Welcome to Dishwasher Advisor, your ultimate resource for honest, professional, and easy-to-follow dishwasher repair and maintenance guides.
Who We Are
I’m William Coers, the founder and lead technician behind Dishwasher Advisor. I’ve spent over 15 years in the appliance repair industry, getting my hands dirty inside kitchens and workshops, diagnosing and fixing almost every make and model of dishwasher on the market—from heavy-duty commercial units to everyday residential machines.
Throughout my career, I noticed a frustrating trend: homeowners were spending hundreds of dollars on service calls for simple problems they could have easily fixed themselves for less than $20.
Even worse, when they turned to the internet for DIY help, they were often met with terrible, dangerous advice (like putting harsh chemical drain cleaners in their machines or using wire hangers to clear hoses) written by people who had never actually taken a pump apart.
I created Dishwasher Advisor to change that.

Our mission is simple: To save you time, money, and the headache of a flooded kitchen. We believe that with the right guidance, anyone can handle basic appliance maintenance. Whether your dishwasher is leaving spots on your glasses, refusing to drain, or making a terrifying grinding noise, we are here to walk you through the troubleshooting process step-by-step, just like I would if I were standing right there in your kitchen.
